The 2007-09 Employment Gap:

  • The reason there is a two-year gap in my employment history is because of my MBA program. I began my degree program in January of 2007, and worked full-time for my first semester.

  • I found full-time employment and a graduate degree course too much to take on at one time. I didn't feel that I would be able to perform to the best of my ability in my education.

  • I looked into going part-time at UHG, but was told part-time opportunities were not available, so I voluntarily left my job to focus on my education.

  • I took the cashier job with K-VA-T in order to have a source of income to pay my bills with while continuing to search for a job in my new field.
